But seriously.
Best fucking track from a video game, ever. Yoshi’s Island. #2 favorite game for life.
Yoshi’s Island for the Super Nintendo is one of my all time favorite video games. Seriously. I would place it in my top 5, if not my top 3.
It was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my childhood. Everything about this game was amazing. It was just easy enough to understand, but challenging enough to test my skill and make beating a hard level feel amazing.
So it kind of depresses me that I was never able to get it’s sequel, Yoshi’s Island DS. I bought Yoshi’s Touch and Go the day it came out, thinking it would be on par with Island. It wasn’t. It was fun, but it was basically an entire game that was based around a minigame.
Some day, I will buy Yoshi’s Island DS from eBay. Some day I will be able to enjoy it and hopefully fall in love.
