Virtue’s Last Reward watches on sale for Hurricane Sandy relief. For once, the boobytrapped watch is being used to save lives, not to end them in bloody explosions. Aksys is selling the watches (which come in three random colors) on its website for $20, with all proceeds going to the Red Cross, earmarked for Hurricane Sandy-related efforts.
I still have the t-shirt Aksys sold for Japan tsunami relief. A nice shirt and a nice gesture!

Yoshi’s Island for the Super Nintendo is one of my all time favorite video games. Seriously. I would place it in my top 5, if not my top 3.
It was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my childhood. Everything about this game was amazing. It was just easy enough to understand, but challenging enough to test my skill and make beating a hard level feel amazing.
So it kind of depresses me that I was never able to get it’s sequel, Yoshi’s Island DS. I bought Yoshi’s Touch and Go the day it came out, thinking it would be on par with Island. It wasn’t. It was fun, but it was basically an entire game that was based around a minigame.
Some day, I will buy Yoshi’s Island DS from eBay. Some day I will be able to enjoy it and hopefully fall in love.

this is that thing i started drawing a long time ago! pen and i finished it last night… we started working on it… then my computer broke and we stopped… then remembered it last night and finished it, then that computer broke. i just uploaded it! pen put the whole thing together on the computer… and did most of the voices…. i hope you like it! i think my dad would. i think my dad likes fart jokes, even though he would never admit it. I’M ONTO YOU, DAD!

Decided to play a bit more Animal Crossing today, I only played about 10 minutes and I already have pictures to share!
1. It’s rainy today, here in Sburb.
2. I walked into the shop and found Bro’s glasses. Bought ‘em. Fuck yeah.
3. I caught a snail buddy today. Usually I donate everything to the museum, but snails are my favorite so I kept him. Still thinking of names.
So I’m sitting on the bus and it makes a hard stop, and my backpack starts to slide off my lap, so I grab it. And I feel something in the pocket. At first I thought it was chapstick or something, but it was too thin.
So I open it up, and it’s a AAA Battery! And I’m thinking, “Why do I have this? What the fuck even uses AAA Batteries?”
So I rummage a bit more and WHAM. GAMEBOY POCKET. And it’s got a decent amount of battery left judging by the light!
I think today is gonna be a fun day.
